Hello Karl and TeX-installers,

because many people, who install TeX and Metafont via web2c,
also install dvipsk and xdvik, I think the makefile in web2c
should contain a simple way to compile and install these two
packages, too. In the web2c/Makefile.in I configure all the
pathes for fonts to be used by tex and its friends. I have
to do just the same changes again in the Makefile.in of dvips
and xdvi. It would be much nicer if I could say 'make dvips'
and 'make xdvi' from the web2c-directory, and configure has
already configured the Makefiles in the proper directories
according to the settings in the web2c/Makefile.in. This would
make upgrading a much easier task, because I need to change
only one file, namely web2c/Makefile.in.
